This document provides instructions for a group project involving a visit to Taman Negara National Park in Malaysia. Students will document their experiences through individual photo scrapbook journals and create an awareness poster as a group. The photo scrapbook should include observations, descriptions of plants/animals/environments, and reflections. As a group, students will create a pop-up infographic poster on a randomly assigned topic to promote environmental awareness of Taman Negara. The project aims to increase students' appreciation of nature through first-hand experiences documented in their scrapbooks and informative awareness posters.
The document outlines a project for students to experience and document nature at Taman Negara national park in Malaysia. It has two parts:
1. A photo scrapbook journal where students individually document their observations, experiences, and reflections from the site visit. They must include descriptions of plants, animals, and environments seen; designs for a mini shelter; and conclusions about nature.
2. A group awareness poster where students create 4-5 pop-up infographic panels to educate the public about Taman Negara and promote environmental appreciation. Topics are randomly assigned.
The project aims to increase students' understanding and sensitivity towards the natural environment. Students will present their poster and be assessed on content knowledge, creativity
This document provides details for Project 1 of the Elements of Natural Built Environment course. Students will visit Taman Negara national park from August 21-23, 2015 to experience and document the natural environment. The project consists of 3 components:

This document outlines Project 1 for the Elements of Natural Built Environment course. It involves students experiencing and documenting nature through a site visit to Kuala Selangor Nature Park. Students will work in groups to create an informative pop-up poster and 5-minute documentary video about their observations and findings from the site visit. The project aims to increase students' awareness and appreciation of natural elements and habitats.
This unit explores how children can convey the atmosphere and story of a dream through art. The children will take photographs of locations around the school to develop narratives for dream scenes. They will then create prints based on these narratives, comparing their work to other artists' styles. The unit aims to help children experiment with techniques like photography, printmaking, and using shape, tone and texture to interpret ideas.
In this unit, children explore issues or events in their lives using photography and collage. They learn to frame images using viewfinders and cameras. They also look at the work of photographers and illustrators. The unit allows children to communicate ideas using different art forms like drawing, printmaking, collage and photography. They are encouraged to comment on similarities and differences between their own work and others'. The expected learning outcomes include exploring ways of framing images and using various media to convey ideas and meanings.
