Augmented reality, the new age technology, has widespread applications in every field imaginable. This technology has proven to be an inflection point in numerous verticals, improving lives and improving performance. In this paper, we explore the various possible applications of Augmented Reality (AR) in the field of Medicine. The objective of using AR in medicine or generally in any field is the fact that, AR helps in motivating the user, making sessions interactive and assist in faster learning. In this paper, we discuss about the applicability of AR in the field of medical diagnosis. Augmented reality technology reinforces remote collaboration, allowing doctors to diagnose patients from a different locality. Additionally, we believe that a much more pronounced effect can be achieved by bringing together the cutting edge technology of AR and the lifesaving field of Medical sciences. AR is a mechanism that could be applied in the learning process too. Similarly, virtual reality could be used in the field where more of practical experience is needed such as driving, sports, neonatal care training.

Techniques to optimize the pagerank algorithm usually fall in two categories. One is to try reducing the work per iteration, and the other is to try reducing the number of iterations. These goals are often at odds with one another. Skipping computation on vertices which have already converged has the potential to save iteration time. Skipping in-identical vertices, with the same in-links, helps reduce duplicate computations and thus could help reduce iteration time. Road networks often have chains which can be short-circuited before pagerank computation to improve performance. Final ranks of chain nodes can be easily calculated. This could reduce both the iteration time, and the number of iterations. If a graph has no dangling nodes, pagerank of each strongly connected component can be computed in topological order. This could help reduce the iteration time, no. of iterations, and also enable multi-iteration concurrency in pagerank computation. The combination of all of the above methods is the STICD algorithm. [sticd] For dynamic graphs, unchanged components whose ranks are unaffected can be skipped altogether.

Data Centers - Striving Within A Narrow Range - Research Report - MCG - May 2...pchutichetpong
M Capital Group (“MCG”) expects to see demand and the changing evolution of supply, facilitated through institutional investment rotation out of offices and into work from home (“WFH”), while the ever-expanding need for data storage as global internet usage expands, with experts predicting 5.3 billion users by 2023. These market factors will be underpinned by technological changes, such as progressing cloud services and edge sites, allowing the industry to see strong expected annual growth of 13% over the next 4 years.
Whilst competitive headwinds remain, represented through the recent second bankruptcy filing of Sungard, which blames “COVID-19 and other macroeconomic trends including delayed customer spending decisions, insourcing and reductions in IT spending, energy inflation and reduction in demand for certain services”, the industry has seen key adjustments, where MCG believes that engineering cost management and technological innovation will be paramount to success.
MCG reports that the more favorable market conditions expected over the next few years, helped by the winding down of pandemic restrictions and a hybrid working environment will be driving market momentum forward. The continuous injection of capital by alternative investment firms, as well as the growing infrastructural investment from cloud service providers and social media companies, whose revenues are expected to grow over 3.6x larger by value in 2026, will likely help propel center provision and innovation. These factors paint a promising picture for the industry players that offset rising input costs and adapt to new technologies.
According to M Capital Group: “Specifically, the long-term cost-saving opportunities available from the rise of remote managing will likely aid value growth for the industry. Through margin optimization and further availability of capital for reinvestment, strong players will maintain their competitive foothold, while weaker players exit the market to balance supply and demand.”
Levelwise PageRank with Loop-Based Dead End Handling Strategy : SHORT REPORT ...Subhajit Sahu
Abstract — Levelwise PageRank is an alternative method of PageRank computation which decomposes the input graph into a directed acyclic block-graph of strongly connected components, and processes them in topological order, one level at a time. This enables calculation for ranks in a distributed fashion without per-iteration communication, unlike the standard method where all vertices are processed in each iteration. It however comes with a precondition of the absence of dead ends in the input graph. Here, the native non-distributed performance of Levelwise PageRank was compared against Monolithic PageRank on a CPU as well as a GPU. To ensure a fair comparison, Monolithic PageRank was also performed on a graph where vertices were split by components. Results indicate that Levelwise PageRank is about as fast as Monolithic PageRank on the CPU, but quite a bit slower on the GPU. Slowdown on the GPU is likely caused by a large submission of small workloads, and expected to be non-issue when the computation is performed on massive graphs.
1. Emerging Technologies IoT, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality
April 2022 Examination
Q1. As more and more new technologies get into play; risks will get more concentrated into
a common network. The attacks like DDoS can be targeted to any company of any size. So,
all companies thinking of innovative technologies deployment must take security very
seriously and from the start and at each stage/level. Describe the difference among IoT, AR
and VR technologies. Explain the security and privacy concerns related with these
technologies and the solution to resolve them. (10 Marks)
Ans 1.
Introduction
As this era is developing era , here technology too is growing very fast as it is need of this time
where competitions are increasing .the attack like DDos can be targeted to any company of any
size , so the companies are thinking of innovative technology development .Before covid all
things were going smoothly but now after this pandemic the people are getting home sleekness .
Concept and analysis
Humans want are unlimited so the humans always crave for what they don’t have that is nothing
but human phycology . But now a days as the technology is growing the scientist are presenting
us with the excellent technological experience and scientific development are made .
Diffrence between the IOT , VR,AR is describe below:
IoT means Internet of Things, and this refers to a letting the internet talk to and control everyday
objects like light switches and thermostats. It’s a rather separate and distinct category from AI,
but AI can drive some IoT devices. It’s very exciting!
VR stands for virtual reality. You’ve surely seen people wearing computer screens that cover
their entire face. As their heads move and rotate in 3-D space, their VR system shows them the
according perspective. People here get to fully inhabit virtual worlds.
2. AR stands for augmented reality. It’s the step in between base-level reality and virtual reality.
Some smartphone screens display a camera’s-eye view of the device’s real environment, but will
also add graphics to the image that realistically move and shift as the smartphone changes
positions. AR is about normal eyes looking at a smartphone screen, VR is about having your
eyes “taken over” by a headset. , It is the fictious reality which we are just watching For
example :As we are watching 5 D,6D,8 D etc movies wearing augmented googles .We feel like
we are really into the seen that which we are watching. We are experiencing the same things as
shown in the movies . one could sense the revel in by using their senses on the way to not be a
scene due to the fact you're all exploring that particular piece with a by way of yourself
Threats to AR :
Every new technology may be used dually in general. First way of using means,
that technology is used for purposes coherent with inventor’s intentions. Second one is
the opposite, what means, that there are some other ways of using specific technologies,
which were not intended during development process. This connects to the fact, that
uncontrolled worldwide technology transfer becomes a growing security problem main-
ly because of unknown usage intentions. Almost every technology can be used dually,
even if it was invented to rescue lives, same technology may be used to threaten them.
With no doubt also Augmented Reality can by potentially used in wrong ways
even without it’s user’s permission and knowledge. Almost every invention connected to ICTis
automatically exposed to cyber-threats, especially if it uses Internet connec-
tion, because without it they are useless. As mentioned before, devices that operate with
AR usually have Internet access, what means, they can be accessible remotely from any
place in the world. This makes such devices vulnerable to whole spectrum of hacker
attacks, including exploitation and remote administration. This means, hacker after
successful access to the device can not only steal personal data, but may control the
device remotely as well.
Such possibility could become a serious threat not only for device user himself,
but also for his close environment
One can stop this by using biometric statistics ehich are shred on net
3. Conclusion
Giving them a limited amount of screen timing and regularly checking And providing with the
usage of protecting eye shields can deals with this situation
Q2. India is now getting ready for emerging technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence,
block chain, augmented reality, virtual reality, machine learning & deep learning,
natural language processing and robotics. These are going to play a crucial role in the
government and industry alike, whether it is planning or decision-making; accelerating
development or analyzing deployment, problem solving or product development;
discovering new trends or drawing out unknown correlations. With taking example of any
company of your own choice, explain the adoption process of Virtual Reality and its
paybacks in India. What are the factors which affect the quality and usability of a virtual
reality applications? Explain briefly. (10 Marks)

Introduction
We took here is the example of DRDO i.e Defence studies and development organization,
DRDO, Where many types of technologies are used . The fighter planes are introduces with
digital truth cameras to get a clear vision of the enemy. As shown in the movie aURI also that
That eagle shaped dhrone were invented to know the enemies positions where they can see the
3D image which offers them accurate views. India is developing country where development of
technologies is growing day by day. it is the only need for this form of technology all through
conflict that boosts individuals capabilities. Now a days all the surgerys in biggest medical
Hospitals and medical colleges like AIIM are done with the help of virtual reality because of it
show the proper view to perform the operation .
4. Concept and analysis
Now In many cities doctors are using VR technology to perform the critical surgeries because
the result of VR view is very accurate .Most critical surgeries are padiatric surgeries where
pediatrician has to operate the infant which is very risky so this technology is used to bring
proper picture in front of doctors eye while operating a child. Same as in Sental clinics doctors
are using virtual technology very fast , Using this method the patients have painless surgery and
can easily removed the tooth.
Performance in VR is often suggested to be influenced by other human factors including,
amongst others, cybersickness, gender, video game experience, and field dependence
The main factors that Affect the augmented Reality are mentioned below:
Mobility
Vision
Immersion
Usability
Flexibility
Wearability
Affordability
Conclusion
Because of this form of technology traditional buying goes final daily, and due to this, a positive
range of the populace is extensively affected because their residing depends on selling matters.
5. Q3. Understanding VR technology and how it can "create emotional-physical responses" is
vital, as it allows students to conceptualize how businesses can apply these tools in new
ways, such as increasing brand engagement with customers.

Introduction
The real purpose of AR/VR in higher education is to promote student engagement and nurture
better understanding. By making learning immersive and experiential through VR headsets,
teachers can explain complex concepts to students in a controlled environment, like Smart
classes are used in school.
In Augmented reality truth and the digital fact is a god gift . Now a days due to pandemic
situations school s and colleges are closed therefore this technology is used for online studies,
where student can get the school environment while studying and teaching. Therefore this
technology is in boom and developing day by day.
Concept and analysis
Virtual classes make the student to enjoy the class while using view and learn method. It makes
them understood the concept easily and while watching it virtually they grasp it and can
recognized the topic. The graphics and colours used in it make them to connect with the topic
6. without getting bored and make them observe it.Here it also has sound effect which take
attention of student.
Taking about the collage student they do not like to go theoritically mough up augmented fact
can help them to attact their attention they may now quickly paly and learn which may bring
their confidence in high level. As their is so many advantages there is also a disadvantage of
using this technology is that as is extent the limit of digital reality the screen time in increasing
which can affect the eyes and mental impact on machine also, and they are used to it. As kids are
very small and continuously exposed to screen can harm their eyes and can have trouble like
extra sweating , nausea, and they can also have insomnia in intense condition .
And second aspect is the cost. These value a large quantity, and all family can't manage to pay
for these sorts of costly gadgets and due to this the kids can have their mood off. These items are
the worst aspect of the picture which nobody want to go for it and These things may be
controlled by limiting the screen timings.
Conclusion
More exposure to the screen should be reduced and proper eye care should be done.
Ans 3(b)
b. With providing some real statistical data from authorized resources, explain how
investing in Internet of Things (IoT) systems could level up revenue in pharmaceutical
industry. (5 Marks)

Introduction
In olden days their was the limitation on conventional check ups and pharmacy offerings but
now the thing are changed and new technologies had been introduces where the pharmacy has
been shifted online with the use of telemedicine and apps.
7. Concept and analysis
India is leading consumer in this scenario because now doctors are usingA I technology .Now as
mobile is the solution for all the thing like big basket is for grocery , Max app s for cloths in the
same way we have online medicine stores and its app which provide discount and other facility
like door step delivery to beat the competions this is all. Even we have online doctor suggestion
and many application are also available in the market.
.A massive amount of money is invested in this zone to boom the nice of the healthcare system.
Numerous fitness bands are coming with IoT structures to hold proper vigilance over the
patients. Doctors are using IoT in tracking patients health which was very helpful in this
pandemic technology. So many health insurance companys are using IoTs which make the
system simpler and reliable and accurate..Taking about medical line here we have many AI
system, For example if any one need any rare blood group and he is searching manually it will
take lots of time and can puts patient life in danger but with the help of technology this work
may be carried out in very less time.
Conclusion
This method is turning very popular now a days and due to this, the pharmaceuticals are
accomplishing extraordinary heights.
