It plans to rotate some operating assets and reinvest the proceeds into new projects, utilizing a broader range of renewable technologies including wind, mini-hydro, and solar. In the past, Gestamp Wind maintained their investment in the
long term, managing the project throughout their asset life.
With the new strategy, Elawan Energy will rotate some assets, usually after the
projects are operational, and will use most of the funds received in the sale to
reinvest in new assets.
Additionally, Elawan Energy invests in all renewable technologies: besides the traditional wind
projects, we have build and are operating mini-hydro power plants and are building solar
photovoltaic plants.
