Summary
Aviation is my one big passion in life and this passion has grown since I was a child, hence the reason
why I am pursuing a career in the field with my ultimate career goal being the captain of an airliner. I
have attended many air shows and enjoy aircraft spotting too. In 2013 I was selected as part of the
South African Airways cadet pilot programme. I then began my training at one of the most prestigious
schools in South Africa, 43 Air School in Port Alfred. I achieved my Commercial Pilot License with passes
in all ATP subjects in February 2015.
I am detail orientated, fair, and structured and believe in maintaining high standards. .I am a multi-
tasker who can remain calm in pressure situations. I also enjoy working with people. Other developed
characteristic include loyalty, self-discipline, patience and persistence and good judgement.
My non-aviation hobbies include listening to music, watching movies, mountain climbing, swimming and
spending time with friends and family.
I am a confident and highly capable pilot looking for a flight crew position to build up my hours, to gain
more experience in the aviation industry and to develop both personally and professionally.
Finally, I am teachable and eager to learn.
