FRONT FAN PERFORATED COVER
The fan cooled versions include the latest in built-in
fan speed control. The fan speed control monitors
the operating conditions and applies the absolute
minimum required air flow. This includes a fan off
condition under light load operation (< 50W).
This optimizes audible noise for fan cooled products
to the lowest levels possible and maximizes fan
lifetime, an ideal combination for audio and process
control systems where power supplies are sized for
short duration peak demand cycles.
The open-frame, u-chassis and perforated cover
versions are well suited for challenging system
designs where low profile, low power dissipation is
desired with minimal air movement. Its low profile is
applicable for industry standard 1U equipment
design.
Open-frame, u-chassis and perforated cover
versions are rated for 250W convection and 400W
with forced air. The integral 12V fan output
eliminates the need for an additional fan supply. The
power supply can be disabled with a logic signal and
dissipates less than 0.5W in stand-by mode allowing
system level Energy Star compliance.

FEATURES
The sealed power modules being potted and offering IP67 ingress protection grade, are well suited for
challenging system designs where low profile, low power dissipation is desired with minimal air movement.
The modules may be mounted for conduction cooling or convection cooling. The modules are rated for
300W in still air or 400W with conduction cooling, the optional heat sink or minimal forced air.
The integral 12V fan output eliminates the need for an additional fan supply. The module can be disabled
with a logic signal and dissipates less than 0.5W in stand-by mode allowing system level Energy Star

and lighting solutions.
The series provide a steady 600W of regulated DC power throughout the extended 85 to 305 V input
voltage range and in a 4.4”x7.3”x1.5” form factor. Capable of 800W peak power for 10 seconds, the series is
particularly suitable for those applications demanding a high start-up current and allow space and cost
saving. The DDP600 come with two different packages open in a U-chassis and enclosed with a built in fan
smart cooling solution that adjust the fan speed to the working condition minimizing acoustical noise and
air movement. By converting energy at 94% typical efficiency, the series generate less heat facilitating
thermal management in space constrained system and offering high rielability.
The DDP600 series are available in three standard output voltages 12, 24, 48 V , offer an auxiliary 12 V
and +5 V stand-by outputs.
Control signals include Power Good and Remote On-Off. The DDP600 carry the full set of protection
features including High Breaking capacity fuse on both lines. The series feature an I-share built in circuitry
for parallel operation between power units to enhance total power. The DDP600 range comply with the 3rd
edition of the IEC 60601-1 safety standard for medical equipment; it offers 2x MoPP means of protection
and is suitable for BF rated applied parts under certain conditions. The series comply also with the 2nd
edition of the IEC 60950-1 standard for IT equipment and UL 8750 for lighting applications. The series
meets the EN55022 EMC limits of Class B for conducted and radiated emissions as well as the IEC/EN
61000-3 and IEC/EN 61000-4 EMC standards.

FRONT FAN PERFORATED COVER
The fan cooled versions feature a built-in fan speed
smart control which provide the minimum required
cooling air flow by monitoring the operating
conditions and turns off the fan when load is less
than 50W. This is an ideal solution for operating
room and laboratory equipment where moving air
and audible noise must be kept to the bare minimum
while enhancing the fan life time.
The open-frame, U-chassis and perforated cover
versions are well suited for challenging system
designs where low profile, low power dissipation is
desired with minimal air movement. Their low profile
is applicable for industry standard 1U equipment
design. Open-frame variants are 250W rated when
natural convection cooled.
All variants offer a remote on-off control signal a
+5V, 2A stand-by and an additional 12V fan supply.
They limit to less than 0.5W the stand-by mode
power consumption. Alla variants are rated 2xMoPP
input to output, 1xMoPP input to ground and 1xMoPP
output to ground.

FEATURES
The medical sealed MDP400 power supplies, being potted and offering IP67 ingress protection grade, are
particularly suitable for harsh and space constrained applications with minimal air flow. A typical 94%
efficiency minimize heat which can be easily dispelled by conduction mounting the module to the system
metal frame.
The series come with four standard single output voltages: 12, 24, 36, 48 V , offer an auxiliary 12 V and a
stand-by +5 V outputs. Available control signals include Power Good and remote On-Off.
When conduction cooled, or convection cooled with its optional heat sink assembled, the SC series can
deliver full output power from -20 to -50 ˚C.
The MDP400 range comply with the 3 edition of the UL/IEC 60601-1 safety standard for medical equipment
offering 2x MoPP protection grade, the EN55022 EMC limits of Class B for conducted and radiated
emissions as well as the IEC/EN 61000-3 and IEC/EN 61000-4 EMC standards.
