An effective recommendation should offer constructive solutions to problems, make detailed and specific recommendations to remove guesswork, be measurable so designers know if they implement it correctly, be sensitive and kind without negativity, and balance weaknesses with strengths by including positive comments.

4. It’s Got to be Measurable!!
 Keep in mind - - - - how will the designer know if
they’ve got it right? What does High Quality look
like?

5. Sensitivity is Key!
 Don’t be negative. Be kind. Treat others the way you
would like to be treated!

6. Balance Weaknesses with Strengths!
 For every negative, try to include a positive
comment!
