Schools are often blamed for not fixing all of society's problems, but schools alone cannot correct all ills in society. While education is important, schools face limits in terms of time, resources, and mandate, and cannot be solely responsible for solving complex social issues that have broader societal and economic causes. A more constructive approach is to have open and realistic discussions about the roles and limitations of schools, and to build partnerships across different institutions to address challenges facing communities.
