Could you use a simple piece of Scala validation code (granted, a very simplistic one too!) that you can rewrite, now and again, to refresh your basic understanding of Applicative operators <*>, <*, *>?
The goal is not to write perfect code showcasing validation, but rather, to provide a small, rough-and ready exercise to reinforce your muscle-memory.
Despite its grandiose-sounding title, this deck consists of just three slides showing the Scala 3 code to be rewritten whenever the details of the operators begin to fade away.
The code is my rough and ready translation of a Haskell user-validation program found in a book called Finding Success (and Failure) in Haskell - Fall in love with applicative functors.

department and project
for instance.
All users see this even if
they did not originally
save the email i.e. they
were a CC recipient.

Inbox folders can be monitored and the
contents replicated to the eDOCS DM
system, so even on holiday or out of
office, emails will get saved in the correct
folder in DM.

Email Filing Assistant suggests emails
that are related e.g. in the same
conversation, and then automatically
populates the profile form for you with
the same metadata when you select the
item.

Quick file shows a list of recent projects allowing
you to quickly file from within the email to the
relevant project

Automatically file all replies ‘thread file’ to the
same metadata as the original message.
