Bluestep, a specialist mortgage lender in Sweden and Norway, revamped its marketing and sales after 2014 and continued diversifying its funding through securitizations. In late 2016, EMK Capital prepared Bluestep for an exit, and in July 2017, EMK sold Bluestep to EQT for an undisclosed amount, realizing a capital gain of around £272 million for EMK Capital's initial £52 million investment.
