The Facility Registry System (FRS) is a data aggregator that integrates, validates and quality assures data from 32 federal and 57 state, tribal and territorial environmental databases containing information on over 2.6 million facilities, over 80% of which have latitude and longitude data. FRS currently publishes this geospatial and facility information as basic RDF on Data.gov but aims to develop a more robust, standards-driven and semantically enriched linked open data representation.

The footprint data is analyzed on a various basis,
whereas this research support big data for the national footprint
data fetched from the internet sources which was publicly
available. The proposed project refers to the data set from 1962 to
2013 and 2018 data taken for kaggel.com. the process of handling
large data set the proposed project utilizes a Hadoop environment.
The distributed environment of Hadoop and MySQL is being
used in this project to process the data. HBase and Sqoop is being
used for post-processing of data and data processing between
HDFS and MySQL respectively. The monitoring data is being
processed by providing some case studies with MapReduce, Pig
and Hive which can be statistically analyzed and visualized in
Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.

The session will open with an overview of trends affecting open data sharing, including ‘broad data’ challenges that emerge when application developers have millions of open government datasets available. We will explore issues of web-scale data discovery, rapid and potentially ad hoc integration, visualization, and analysis of partially modeled datasets as well as issues arising from combining different data use policies. We will present emerging solution standards and transitioning academic technologies, including innovative work conducted by the ‘Watson’ research group at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on using Watson as a ‘data advisor’. Panelists will synthesize session topics including optimal steps toward an open health knowledge graph facilitating ‘data liquidity’ (as defined by the ability to easily combine and refine data from disparate publishers). Panelists will discuss enabling the implementation of effective ‘lifting schemes’ by leveraging ‘collaboration without coordination’ processes to produce efficient data access techniques that drive innovative new application development tools, products, and services.

A prerequisite for integrated land and water resources management (ILWRM) is a holistic river basin assessment. The latter requires information and data from different scientific disciplines but also appropriate data management systems to store and manage historical and real time data, set up protocols that facilitate data and information access and sharing among different stakeholders, and triggering
further collaboration among different institutions in support of watershed-based assessment, management and planning. In West Africa in general and especially in the transboundary Volta River basin where different environmental data are collected and managed by different agencies in different countries and also where data access and dissemination are very challenging and difficult tasks, comprehensive river basin information systems are required. This paper presents the Oti River Basin Information System (OtiRBIS), a web-based data storage, management and analysis platform that addresses these needs and facilitates ILWRM implementation in the Kara river basin.

New preventative tool to protect Source Water Quality from CAFO and Anhydrous...
The document proposes expanding the USDA's RUSLE2 software to include a new "Nitrogen Fertilizer Protection Index" (NFPI) that would provide comprehensive guidance on limiting nitrogen fertilizer runoff. Currently RUSLE2 only addresses soil erosion and does not track fertilizer loss. A prerequisite for integrated land and water resources management (ILWRM) is a holistic river basin assessment. The latter requires information and data from different scientific disciplines but also appropriate data management systems to store and manage historical and real time data, set up protocols that facilitate data and information access and sharing among different stakeholders, and triggering
further collaboration among different institutions in support of watershed-based assessment, management and planning. In West Africa in general and especially in the transboundary Volta River basin where different environmental data are collected and managed by different agencies in different countries and also where data access and dissemination are very challenging and difficult tasks, comprehensive river basin information systems are required. This paper presents the Oti River Basin Information System (OtiRBIS), a web-based data storage, management and analysis platform that addresses these needs and facilitates ILWRM implementation in the Kara river basin.

zkStudyClub - LatticeFold: A Lattice-based Folding Scheme and its Application...
Folding is a recent technique for building efficient recursive SNARKs. Several elegant folding protocols have been proposed, such as Nova, Supernova, Hypernova, Protostar, and others. However, all of them rely on an additively homomorphic commitment scheme based on discrete log, and are therefore not post-quantum secure. In this work we present LatticeFold, the first lattice-based folding protocol based on the Module SIS problem. This folding protocol naturally leads to an efficient recursive lattice-based SNARK and an efficient PCD scheme. LatticeFold supports folding low-degree relations, such as R1CS, as well as high-degree relations, such as CCS. The key challenge is to construct a secure folding protocol that works with the Ajtai commitment scheme. The difficulty, is ensuring that extracted witnesses are low norm through many rounds of folding. We present a novel technique using the sumcheck protocol to ensure that extracted witnesses are always low norm no matter how many rounds of folding are used. Our evaluation of the final proof system suggests that it is as performant as Hypernova, while providing post-quantum security.

Power Grid Model
The global energy transition is placing new and unprecedented demands on Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Alongside upgrades to grid capacity, processes such as digitization, capacity optimization, and congestion management are becoming vital for delivering reliable services.
Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.
