The company decided to go green for a week by not using cell phones. Initially, people noticed a lack of unnecessary conversations but had to plan activities more. Without phones to contact friends and family, freedom and flexibility were reduced. While unnecessary conversations decreased, people did not adapt well to lack of contact ability. Three employees shared going without phones: one found it difficult due to distractions but finished work faster; one said it was relaxing but hard to coordinate; and one said it freed up time which had to be filled in other ways. In conclusion, living without technology is possible but not easy, and most were able to complete the green challenge.
