In August 2008, we introduced electronic free-flow tolling at one location on the M50 between the
N3 and the N4. This tolling station is managed by our parent company, BetEire Flow, who designed,
built and operated the electronic collection system for the National Roads Authority.
Today, eFlow uses video and tag tolling on the M50; and our tags work on all toll roads throughout
the country. We offer a range of payment options and services to make life easier for drivers and fleet
managers alike.
And because no two fleets are the same, we’ve honed our customer services to meet your needs
individually, with dedicated account managers to answer your queries and issues – whether you have a
tag account or a video account.

Which account is right for your fleet?
If your fleet is primarily centred in Dublin and uses the M50 toll only occasionally a video registered
account might be your best option.
If your fleet drives all around Ireland, using any toll roads, you need a tag account.
Both account types will enjoy discounts on the M50 and time saving benefits as outlined in this guide.

4. Paying tolls made easy
With a tag account you can pay by direct debit or by debit card from your bank account. With a video
account payment is made by direct debit from your bank account, credit card or debit card.
Payment oPtions
1. Post-Paid account
This option allows the tolls to accumulate over the month. A statement is issued around the first week of
the following month and the payment is deducted in the third week. This option is recommended for large
fleets, as the account will never run out of credit.
2. Pre-Paid account
With this option toll charges are automatically deducted from the account each time a trip is made.
You agree that eFlow can top up your account from your chosen payment method, when it reaches
a‘low balance’threshold. This ensures that the tolls are always paid.
