This document provides instructions for an assignment to create masks representing dynamic characters from three stories. Students are asked to make masks for characters showing who they are at the beginning and how they change by the end of each story. The masks and a 5-7 sentence summary explaining the mask's colors, design and shape are due on Thursday, October 18, 2012.

Remember a DYNAMIC CHARACTER is a character who changes.
 You will create a mask for a DYNAMIC CHARACTER in each selection.
 ½ showing something about the character in the beginning of the
story
 ½ showing his/her change at the end of the story.
 You will complete a mask for a DYNAMIC CHARACTER in each of the
stories in Unit 1(The Moustache, Two Kinds, and Skins) All together
3 DYNAMIC MASKS.
 You will write a summary (5 to 7 sentences) explaining your masks
from the colors chosen to the design, and even the actual shape of
the mask.
