DeVry University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North
Central Association of Colleges and Schools (ncahlc.org). DeVry University’s Keller
Graduate School of Management is included in this grant of accreditation. The
Higher Learning Commission is one of eight regional institutional accrediting bod-
ies in the U.S., is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and grants
“institutional” accreditation, meaning that the entire operation of the institution
is evaluated.
The accreditation of an institution or program of study is considered a significant
indication of quality postsecondary education. To achieve accredited status, an in-
stitution must demonstrate a high level of performance, integrity and quality that
conforms to the standards set by its accrediting agency. As a result, accreditation
becomes a factor in decisions made by a variety of entities including employers,
other colleagues and universities, and students seeking higher education.

his passion to be the best at what he does and
investing in continuous learning. He worked his
way up at the Chicago Tribune Company to be-

ogy opportunity presented itself and Fleming
was appointed to a newly created position as the
field technology manager. “At this time I had no
information systems experience and needed to
get up to speed quickly in this field,” said Flem-
ing. “DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School

me accelerate my expertise in information tech-

During his time at Keller, Fleming was impressed
by his instructors. “I loved all of them because
they were genuine, passionate about their sub-
jects and had hands-on professional experience
in solving real business problems,” he said. “I’ve
had a great education at Keller and great men-
tors/coaches in my career. I want to be viewed
