Duke is a nervous student starting his first day at a new college. He meets Dan outside, who introduces him to Katie. Duke is intrigued by Katie. Dan and Katie invite Duke to join their chemistry lesson. Duke narrates that he didn't expect to make friends or have his first class with them on his first day. He hints that he has a special, unique power that allows him to see things others cannot.

POCKETS AND HE IS MOSTLY LOOKING AT
THE GROUND. STUDENTS ARE SHOWN
OUTSIDE THE FRONT OF THE COLLEGE,
LEVITATING, AND LIGHTING CIGARETTES
FROM THEIR FINGERTIPS. DUKE APPROACHES
ONE OF THE STUDENTS.

DUKE:
Erm, yeah Im Duke, just started here.

the college, he talks to the receptionist and she hands him
his timetable. He goes to his first lesson, which just
happens to be the same chemistry lesson as Dan and Katie, he
sits down next to Katie,
