a. Orange Avenue Discussion and Master Plan Update (GAI Consultants) â Peter Sechler
focused on pedestrian space, crosswalk/intersection design concepts and updated the
Board on the status of the designs for Orange Avenue. (See attachment for presentation.)
i. The Board gave their support for the main concept designs and selected items to
add to the FDOT Orange Avenue project.
6. Announcements and Other Business
a. Martin Hudson updated the Board on several items including: the new welcome to
Orlando sign on Orange Avenue, SODO NID/Main Street outreach efforts, NID booth at
Light Up SODO, entry landscaping, Gore Avenue resurfacing by the County and the
2. potential to bring Innovation Pavilion of Colorado to the Boardâs February meeting to
discuss the concept of a makerspace in the district.
