The CHS Alumni Association was established in 2011 to connect Clinton graduates and support the local school district and community. The association organizes events throughout the school year for alumni to reconnect, such as basketball tournaments, tailgates, and an all-school reunion. Georgia State Celebrates International Education Week
Georgia State University celebrated International Education Week from November 12-16 with over 30 events highlighting international education. The week featured public forums from the university's emerging market task forces focused on Turkey, South Africa, China, South Korea, and Brazil. International students shared their study abroad experiences and a film screening told the story of citizens in Sarajevo who dug a secret tunnel to escape a four-year siege during the Bosnian war. Over 1,650 international students attended Georgia State in 2012.
