Information und Kommunikation haben in der Projektarbeit eine zentrale Bedeutung. Sie schaffen Vertrauen, fördern Handeln und garantieren Akzeptanz. Die Hochschullandschaft wurde in den letzten Jahren grundlegenden Veränderungen unterzogen. Managementansätze aus der Wirtschaft wurden adaptiert. Sowohl für die organisatorische Ebene des Hochschulmanagements als auch für die Forschungsaktivitäten im Wissenschaftsmanagement gilt, dass immer stärker eine Verschränkung von Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft stattfindet. Daher lohnt ein Blick in die dortige Praxis des Projektmanagements. Nach einem allgemeinen Überblick konzentriert sich dieser Beitrag auf die Bedeutung von Information und Kommunikation im Umgang mit Projekten, sowie der Schlüsselposition der Projektleitung.

La transmisión del VIH de la gestante infectada al niño, es responsable del 5 al 10% del total anual de nuevos casos de infección por el VIH que se producen en muchos países en vías de desarrollo. En nuestro país, diversas razones como la pobreza, el analfabetismo, la inequidad de género, la ausencia de percepción de riesgo y la falta de decisión, ponen a las mujeres en mayor riesgo de contraer el VIH y, como consecuencia, la posibilidad de que ocurra la transmisión vertical del virus, la misma que constituye el 3% de los casos reportados en el país y en nuestras regiones.
