To Whom It May Concern
Re: Ben Beeching
I am happy to write a reference for Ben Beeching in support of his application. I have
now known and taught Ben for nearly two years and have found him to be a polite,
inquisitive and impressionable young man who is a pleasure to teach.
This semester I am teaching him on Foreign Policy Analysis, a highly demanding
International Relations unit, covering a wide range of theoretical and practical issues in
the international system. In his first year he achieved excellent results with most of them
falling in the 2:1 category and his results from this year’s first semester appear to be
similar.
I know from his various seminar teachers, that Ben is an active contributor and completes
a substantial amount of reading each week. He is obviously keen to develop his academic
abilities and I am certain he will go far.
In short, I am happy to recommend Ben and wish him the best in his present goals. I have
been impressed with his commitment, his knowledge and his ability to discuss, think
critically and research.
If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me
Yours faithfully
