Dontrell Brite is seeking a summer coaching position and has experience planning recreational programs and activities. As an undergraduate, Brite planned a successful volleyball tournament and worked at his university's wellness center. Brite was a standout basketball player in college, receiving multiple honors and awards over his career.

To succeed in a summer coaching position in a non-profit organization while using my communication,

Part of student led committee responsible for semester-long program to plan, implement and evaluate a
one-time special event. The “Bump, Set, Spike” event was one of the most popular volleyball
tournaments conducted on the University of Mount Olive campus. Sponsors were secured for the program
who catered food for this event.
Field Training: UMO, Pope Wellness Center, Mount Olive, North Carolina January 2014-May 2015
Worked with the director of intramurals, and as a front desk attendant. Was responsible for setting up for
the evening events inside and outside of the wellness center. Helped advertise for events by making
flyers, and hang them so they would be noticeable on campus. As a front desk attendant I would make
sure everybody checked in, and also keeping eye out for altercations in the gym and weight room areas.

Planned and incorporated the YMCA’s core values in every activity; made the experience for each child
memorable. Organized groups for activities, for things such as crafts,games,songs, plays, swimming, and

order to have their child prepared. I knew and understand all emergency procedures for this company as
well as its guidelines.
