MOST FREQUENTLY TO STIMULI THAT ARISE EXTERNAL TO THE BODY ITSELF. THESE
RECEPTORS CAN SOMETIMES BE REFERRED TO AS CUTANEOUS RECEPTORS BECAUSE OF
THEIR PLACEMENT IN THE SKIN (1) IN RELATION TO BASKETBALL , THIS COULD BE
CONSIDERED THE STARTERS WHO PLAY THE MOST MINUTES OR THE MOST FREQUENTLY
AND ARE ALWAYS FIRST TO BE RECOGNIZED .



                   V I S C E R O C E P T O R S : LOCATED INTERNALLY , OFTEN WITHIN THE
                   VISCERA, AND WHEN STIMULATED PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT THE
                   INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT .  THEY’RE ALSO INVOLVED IN MEDIATING
                   SENSATIONS SUCH AS HUNGER AND THIRST.(1) IN RELATION TO
                   BASKETBALL , THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED THE 6TH MAN WHO PLAYS
                   BASICALLY AS MUCH AS THE STARTERS AND THEIR ROLES ARE JUST AS
                   IMPORTANT AS THE STARTERS.

                   P R O P C I O C E P T O R S : A SPECIALIZED TYPE OF VISCEROCEPTORS .
                   THEY ARE LESS NUMEROUS AND GENERALLY MORE SPECIALIZED THAN

      EACH GOLGI TENDON ORGAN CONSIST OF DENDTRIES OF AFFERENT
      (SENSORY) NERVES CALLED “TYPE IB NERVE FIBERS” WHICH ARE
      ASSOCIATED WITH BUNDLES OF COLLAGEN FIBERS FROM THE TENDON

      THE MECHANISM OF HEARING IS SOLELY BASED IN THE COCHLEAR DUCT, WHICH
EVERY BASKETBALL PLAYER IS BORN WITH . THIS DUCT CONTAINS THE ORGAN OF CORTI,
WHICH ARE WHERE THE HAIR CELLS ARE LOCATED (ALL HAIRS HAVE NERVES ON THEM.)

HIGH-FREQUENCY SOUND WAVES (SUCH AS A WHISTLE OR THE BUZZER GOING OFF ) CAN
BE HEARD BY EVERY PLAYER BECAUSE THE SOUND WAVES CAUSE THE NARROW PART OF
THE BASILAR MEMBRANE NEAR THE OVAL WINDOW TO VIBRATE; THE LOW-FREQUENCY
SOUND WAVES (SUCH AS MAYBE A PLAYER WITH A DEEP VOICE OR EVEN A BOO FROM THE
CROWD) VIBRATE THE MEMBRANE NEAR THE APEX OF THE COCHLEA DUCT WHICH IS WIDER
AND THICKER , BOTH OF THESE FREQUENCIES CREATE BULGES IN THE BASILAR MEMBRANE
IN DIFFERENT POINTS ALONG ITS LENGTH . THIS BULGE CONTROLS WHICH HAIR CELLS ARE
AFFECTED, ULTIMATELY CAUSING THE PLAYER TO RECEIVE A HIGHER OR LOWER PITCH.
THE NEURONAL PATHWAY OF HEARING STARTS AT THE COCHLEA “SNAIL” PART AND GOES
ALL THE WAY TO THE BRAIN WHICH RECEIVES THE NERVE IMPULSES AND SENDS THE BACK

SENSE OF BALANCE AND DYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM ARE SYNONYMOUS TERMS. BALANCE IS
MAINTAINED BY THE FLUID IN THE SEMICIRCULAR CANALS ATTACHED TO THE COCHLEA ,
WHICH AS STATED BEFORE EVERY BASKETBALL PLAYER IS BORN WITH . TO MAINTAIN THE
BALANCE THE FLUID HAS TO BE SEMI STILL ; HOWEVER , WHEN A PLAYER SHAKES HIS HEAD
OR GETS KNOCKED TO THE GROUND HIS BALANCE COULD’VE BEEN THROWN OFF FROM THE
FLUID BEING TO SHAKEN UP. BASKETBALL PLAYERS NEED LARGE AMOUNT OF BALANCE
BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DRIBBLE AND LOOK UP WHILE RUNNING DOWN THE
COURT. WITHOUT THE SEMICIRCULAR CANALS AND COCHLEA THE BASKETBALL PLAYERS

STRUCTURE OF THE EYE:    THE EYEBALL IS AN IRREGULAR SHAPED
SPHERE UNLIKE A BASKETBALL THAT IS A PERFECTLY SHAPED SPHERE
WITH GRIP

CAVITIES &HUMORS:    THE CAVITIES IS THE SPACE BETWEEN THE
CORNEA AND IRIS FILLED WITH AQUEOUS HUMOR, JUST LIKE THE
SPACE BETWEEN YOU AND THE BASKETBALL HOOP AND IN ORDER TO
MAKE IT WORK YOU GOT TO GET TO THE HOOP JUST AS THE CAVITIES
