Chartering, Training & Development, NVOCC and Freight Forwarding. DDI arguably can be termed
as the unsurpassed source of Crew Management and Technical Management services for Indian
Flag vessels.
The dream of a young master mariner has led into an organization that has blossomed into one of
the leading providers of shipping services around the world. In 2006, Danautic Ship Management
merged with the Peter Doehle group and the company name changed to Doehle Danautic India
Pvt. Ltd. Peter Doehle Group is one of the leading providers of shipping services around the
world. The company has an existing global network of operations with offices in Russia,
Philippines (Manila) and India (Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Goa and Mundra).

• 2001- 1st May, Doehle Danautic commences operations as Danautic Ship Management. The
Shipping Corporation of India signs on as its first client.
• 2002 to 2006- Various shipping companies from around the world get associated with the
Company. The client list grows.
• 2006- 1st October, Danautic Ship Management merges with Peter Doehle Group and
becomes Doehle Danautic India Pvt. Ltd.
• 2007- Doehle Danautic expands operations nationally, begins an office in Delhi. Allen
Chartering India Pvt. Ltd. is set up to cater to bulk trade in and out of India.
• 2008- Doehle Danautic further expands its operations and starts an office in Goa.
• 2009- The Company extends its services and diversifies into Logistics and Training &
Development.

• 2010 - Former ace cricketer Mr. Kapil Dev comes on board as Director with Doehle Danautic
Logistics & Trading Pvt. Ltd.
• 2011- Doehle Danautic starts its own training institute; AMTI, in Gurgaon to impart training
and thereby enhance safety standards onboard to the seafarers, ship owners and managers.
In addition DDI also ventured into ship recycling business.
• 2012 - This year turned out to be the year of expansion in all areas. The company ventured
into NVOCC / Freight Forwarding. The company started branch offices in Chennai and Kolkata
to offer crew management services, in Bhavnagar to cater and strengthen the recycling
business out of Alang and in Mundra to further enhance its NVOCC / Freight Forwarding
operations worldwide.Towards the end of 2012, DDI inked a JV with Thome Ship
Management to expand the pool of Indian officers on Thome fleet thereby edifying India as a
future maritime sourcing hub for qualified Indian officers for worldwide trading.

• 2013 - In the beginning of the year 2013, DDI entered into an extensive and unique
collaboration with the SPS group, one of the fastest growing business houses catering
diversified sectors. The mission of the alliance is to create a union between east coast and
west coast; thereby creating strong strategic alliance in the maritime service sector. This
alliance will cater to the areas of crew management, training, security guards for vessels,
barging, rail – road transportation, ship owing and chartering.
