2.  Rising technologies such as:
 A.I.
 Machine Learning
 Internet of Things
 Virtual reality and augmented reality
 Are disrupting every sector in the societies including the healthcare sector

3.  Doctors and nurses are more or less immune from losing their jobs because of the
empathy and social interaction needed throughout the healthcare sector, however:
 They should be understand the new technologies
 Ready to use it on a daily basis
 Augment their profession with such technologies

4.  Doctors can use A.I. and machine learning in helping them in diagnosis of patients
specially in remote areas were specialized hospitals are lacking
 Radiologists will use these technologies in helping them identify diseases relying
on machine experience based on millions of images scanned

5.  Using ambulatory devices such as ECG, heart rate monitors, and biometric data
measurements devices, doctors can have real time access to patient data
 Collecting such big amounts of data will open huge opportunities for doctors to
raise the right questions to get the right answers

6.  Doctors can benefit from virtual reality in teaching courses and speeding learning
and decreasing error rate
 Better remote patient and doctor relation
 Augmented reality technologies can be used intra operative for better anatomical
dissection for surgeons

7.  New technologies are creating demand for new profession throughout the
healthcare sector
 Data scientists specialized in medical big data
 Data labelers for teaching machine learning engines
 All hospitals will need huge IT department
 Cyber security jobs for protecting patient’s data

8.  Communication skills
 Social interaction abilities
 Empathy
 As they are now competing with machines that do not get angry under stress or
tiredness

9.  Provide awareness for the new technologies
 Train the staff to understand and use new technologies
 Raise funds for expanding the IT departments
 Offer data security for patients data
 Be creative in using such big data for offering better healthcare service
