AHRC DTP Features
The AHRC DTP Scotland aims to ‘inspire researchers who are capable,
caring, ethical and reflective professionals’.
• Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary training managed via four Academic
Panel Committees. Ring-fenced funding to support both staff and studentled proposals for cross-HEI activity. Responsive funding to support AHRCfunded students to participate in singularly beneficial opportunities.
Annual residential workshop for each cohort, to embed core values and
skills (final workshop planned by cohort).

• Employability Training structured around three key pillars of activity
(Engaging, Influencing, Leading) targeted at different stages of
development (Gathering, Sharing, Advancing).
• Partnerships for planning and delivering training with 30 non-HEIs,
including all of the National Arts Organisations of Scotland. Training
programme planned via the Training, KE and Industry Committee.
