TRUSTEE’S STATUS REPORT
Matthew D. Orwig, the duly-appointed Chapter 11 trustee (the “Trustee”), file this Status
Report in response to the Court’s January 14, 2019 correspondence requesting such a report [Dckt.
No. 1087]. In response to the Court’s request, the Trustee reports as follows:
SUMMARY
The Trustee has resolved all claim objections and has distributed the majority of the funds in
the Trust. The case remains open for two matters: (i) the resolution of a potential issue with the
Department of Justice; and (ii) distributing the final amounts and filing final tax returns. It is the
Trustee’s intent to complete these steps during 2019.
MATTERS REQUIRING RESOLUTION
The Trustee is aware that the Department of Justice is holding certain funds which may
constitute estate property, including the proceeds of an aircraft which the Court previously determined
was property of the Debtor’s estate. In addition, there have been some informal conversations
regarding the possibility of the Trustee’s distribution channel being used to help pay out some of the

restitution funds collected by the Department of Justice. The Trustee intends to resolve this matter in
the first quarter of 2019, allowing for the final distribution and closing of the case.
DISTRIBUTIONS AND BALANCES
The Trustee has made three distributions to unsecured creditors, totaling $4,002,622, or
approximately 41.55 % of allowed claims. All of the checks issued in the first two distributions
were negotiated. As of December 31, 2018, the Trustee had bank balances in the amount of
$1,035,983, of which $573,022.00 was paid out in a mid-January distribution. The remaining funds
will be used to satisfy any remaining taxes owed, remaining administrative expenses, unpaid
Priority Claims, and to make a final distribution to unsecured creditors. All of the Trustee’s
professionals have been paid for their services through December 2018; however, the Trustee has
not yet received any compensation.
OTHER MATTERS
Barring any unforeseen events, the Trustee believes that the remaining activities of the estate
consist mainly of accounting and distribution.
