Intimacy With Jesus, Remain in Me, part 3, "The Joy Filled Lifeblackforestchapelorg
This document discusses intimacy with Jesus through abiding in him. It references several passages from the book of John that emphasize the importance of remaining in Jesus and obeying his commandments. These include John 15:9-11 where Jesus says he has loved his followers as the Father has loved him and that obeying his commands allows them to remain in his love and be filled with joy. The document encourages meditating on abiding in Christ and asking him to fill ones life with joy.
The document discusses God's provision for his people in the wilderness. It describes how the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron for bringing them into the desert to starve. God promised to rain down bread from heaven each day for them to gather enough food. The principles of God's provision are that it is a gift that may require participation and not come with prior explanation, and begins when people seek God without complaining and obey his instructions. God's provision is portioned perfectly for his people and intended to demonstrate that he is the Lord who cares for their needs.
1) The document discusses the coming Day of the Lord, a time of judgment when Christ will reign over the world. It notes that this day will come suddenly and without warning, like a thief in the night.
2) It encourages believers to be awake, sober, and watchful for Christ's return. Having faith, love, and hope will protect believers like armor.
3) Believers are not destined for God's wrath but for salvation through Jesus Christ, whether awake or asleep when He returns. They are urged to comfort and encourage one another as they await the Day of the Lord.
The document references Ezekiel 34:15-16 where God declares that He will be the shepherd of His sheep and care for them by seeking the lost, bringing back the strayed, binding up the injured, and strengthening the weak. It then states that God meets people where they are and leads them to where He wants them to be, listing several biblical figures as examples. The bottom of the document repeats the referenced Ezekiel passage.
This document outlines the process of salvation from three perspectives: justification, sanctification, and glorification. It discusses key Bible verses related to repenting from sins and accepting Jesus Christ through faith to be saved from the penalty of sin. It also references verses about living a holy life through sanctification to be saved from sin's power and growing in Christlikeness. The document contrasts this victorious Christian life with a defeated Christian who lives in carnality rather than dedicating their life to God early on.

The Christmas message clearly spells out the deity of Christ, but this is not just a theological issue with which to ponder. It is meant to jolt us out of our spiritual stupor (sleepiness) to obeying "Jesus Christ our LORD." If obedience in our daily lives is replaced by right theology, then the boat has sailed without us.

Choosing the Life of Joy: Joy in SacrificeStephen Palm
We typically seek for joy in the pursuit of happiness. It is a high value in our nation going back to our founding documents. However, the Apostle Paul teaches us that joy is found in sacrifice. When we identify with Jesus and His death on the cross, and live that sacrifice out in every corner of our lives, we find a greater and more resilient joy. This sermon, on Philippians 3:1-11 explores Paul's radical transvaluation of his life. Everything he once prized, he came to see as worse than garbage. Jesus became for Paul the "Pearl of Great Price." Also, we will explore how religion is the devil's cheap substitute for God's higher purpose for our lives, a deep and abiding relationship with our Heavenly Father through His Son, Jesus.
The document lists 5 benefits of abiding in Christ according to several Bible verses:
1. Spiritual fruitfulness (John 15:5)
2. Answered prayer (John 15:7)

4. New life (2 Corinthians 5:17)
5. God's righteousness rather than human righteousness (Philippians 3:9)

It says one obeys the gospel by believing, repenting of sins, confessing faith, and being baptized, as baptism allows one to be buried with Christ in death and raised in new life according to Romans 6:3-4.

Shalom Saints,
It is in this time of Purim that we are reminded again of the power of putting on the armour of God.
Having situations and calamities still happening in our lives, we are still struggling with the very basic in our lives, to obtain peace and His promise.
Paul focused the believer on spiritual warfare, who we are wrestling with...
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
...against principalities,
...against powers,
...against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
...against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The believer will not stand a chance if he does not put on the FULL armour of God. A partial armour also makes the believer vulnerable.
Let's learn how the enemy attack believers and how the armour of God protect us. Also to claim this privilege of protection that God has given unto each one of us.
Ephesians 6:13 NKJV
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Earthquake in Turkey, flood in Johor, snow in Hollywood...you can name each disaster that may seemed a distance to us physically. One disaster that is closest to ourselves is when it happen to our family.
Come and join us and learn how we can put on this armor corporately and stand firm on His protection and promise.
As you know who we are, a prayer altar. Come and join us who can pray for you behind your back.

Acts 7:20-29: Moses sought to be with his brothers but they rejected him. And he was exiled. Cain refused to care for his brother, and he was alone. But it’s not good for man to be alone. Why do we slip into the thinking of Cain so easily and find ourselves alone? Being brothers is not easy, but let brotherly love continue.
Of all the metaphors for believers, the one most often used in the NT is “adelphos” (siblings, brothers and sisters). After Jesus’ ascension the company who gathered in the upper room consisted of both men and women, and Peter calls all of them brethren. In Acts 15, both Jewish believers and Gentile believers are called brethren.

The document discusses Jesus Christ's relationship to believers as their brother. It notes that Christ partook of flesh and blood to become like his brothers in every way so that he could be a merciful and faithful high priest to help those who are tempted. As the Son of God, Christ calls believers his brothers and sisters and shares in their humanity so that he can bring many sons and daughters to glory. The document encourages believers that as holy brothers and sisters of Christ, they share in his heavenly calling from God.

2 Samuel 12:13; Psalm 51: David reminds us that although we’ve sinned when we turn back to our God with a broken and contrite heart he will show mercy and forgive our sins. Repentance leads to the restoration, so that we can be glorious. https://youtu.be/0E1da94y-eE

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
