The introduction segment of my feature script im writing for my Dissertation

1. Do you Believe? (Introduction)

INT. TRAIN. CARRIAGE. NIGHT
The train is quiet and empty, the lights are dim and there is
nothing but the sound of the train speeding through the night
to fill an otherwise empty carriage, nobody else is around
except A young man, Issac (23) he is sitting at a small table
typing away on his laptop.
With a yawn Issac looks at his watch (the time reads 00:00
midnight) and shuffles around in a camera equipment bag next
to him before continuing to work on his laptop, he is typing
up an article discussing a recent internet celebrity scandal.
Being mostly fresh out of Uni Issac smiles an unconvincing
smile to himself re-reading through his work before getting
ready to publish it for the first time on a somewhat decent
online blog.
As he is doing this a pale looking man (30ish) dressed in a
full black suit carrying a battered briefcase walks down the
train carriage slightly trembling he approaches Issac's
table.
MAN
Excuse me...mind if I sit here?
He beckons to the seat at the table opposite Issac. Issac
pauses for a second bewildered that the man isn't choosing
any of the empty seats in the whole entire carriage to sit
at.
ISSAC
Sure, it's all good
The train lights flicker for a second as the man says thank
you and sits down at the table. What follows is a few minutes
of awkward silence as the Man sits still in silence and Issac
not wanting to start a conversation goes back to working on
his laptop.
A few more minutes go by. The man slightly clutches at his
head before speaking.
MAN
Sorry... I couldn't help but notice
the headline on your computer as I
walked past, are you a journalist?
Issac looks up from his computer
ISSAC
I suppose you could say that. Just

graduated, Media Journalism.
The Man nods
MAN
Ah I see...so you working on a big
story?
Issac sighs a little, before beginning to ramble in a
somewhat defeated tone.
ISSAC
Just some crappy internet celebrity
gossip piece. Trying to pay the bills
you know?
The lights flicker again. Issac notices that the Man is in a
complete daydream, staring off into space no expression
whatsoever... Suddenly the Man snaps back to reality
clutching at his head again.
MAN
Sorry... did you say you were a
journalist?
Issac sits there for a few seconds confused.
ISSAC
Headache?
The Man looks at Issac wondering what's he on about but
quickly remembers he's been clutching at his head
MAN
Huh? Oh right no its nothing...I was
hoping you could have a look at
this...
ISSAC
Okay?
The Man lifts up the briefcase he has been carrying with him
and places it on the table. He begins to dish out a set of
documents cluttered and messed up. They look like they were
put together in a hurry. He hands them to Issac. The lights
flicker.
MAN
Have you heard of Hyrington?

ISSAC
No...Cant say I have
The lights flicker once again as the man leans forward a tiny
bit looking paler than before his calm tone begins to crack.
MAN
Please, please just read them
Issac begins to skim through them but is caught at old
newspaper headlines included within some reading: MULTIPLE
MISSING PERSONS, MANOR HOUSE DRIVES MAJORITY OF TOWN
POPULATION AWAY. The MANOR HOUSE is mentioned somewhere on
each page.
ISSAC
So the town's got a sketchy history
you want to cover? or?
The man begins to stress. He pulls his hand down his face
trying to remain calm.
MAN
Not quite no...Listen im just gonna
say it. Do you believe in the
supernatural?
Issac puts down the documents and stares at the man whilst
shaking his head quickly. Issac chuckles to himself.
ISSAC
You cant be serious right?
Supernatural? come on 'ghosts'?
The man replies back desperately. Slowly failing to hold it
together any longer.
MAN
Do you believe?
ISSAC
No...Im sorry but do you expect me to
believe your town is haunted?
Issac slides the documents back over to the man. The train
lights flicker once again. The man begins to breakdown he
looks at Issac with a cold yet fearful stare.
MAN
You haven't seen what i've see

The lights flicker as the man suddenly gets up and starts
looking down the carriage, quickly moving towards the windows
and peeking out of them. Issac observes in pure confusion.
The man turns back to Issac grabbing the documents. He skims
through them frantically causing pages to fall apart.
MAN
Listen. That manor is the key I know
it is. You can get the word out you
have to it's th...
The man stops mid sentence and grabs his head this time in
severe pain
MAN
Ugnhh...Fuck, can you hear that?
Issac looks baffled and slightly now concerned
ISSAC
Hear what?
The man once again looks down the train carriage. He is
terrified.
MAN
No no...no there's no time, here take
these. You'll need them
The man hands the documents to Issac and begins to walk down
the carriage. Issac gets up to go after him.
ISSAC
Wait! Hey where you going! come back
man! what the fuck you doing?
The man quickly walks down the carriage. He gets to one of
the train doors and presses the button to OPEN IT he peeks
his head out of the door and sees a train on the opposite
track moving ever closer. Issac now seeing what he is doing
runs over to stop him.
ISSAC
Stop! we are still moving! Hey. Stop!
The man looks back at Issac
MAN
Please do the right thing

Wait WAIT...
Just as Issac gets to and attempts to grab him the man steps
out of the moving train and is immediately hit by the
opposite train with a loud CRUNCH.
ISSAC
NO!
CUT TO TITLE
