The physical strain of the exercise, combined with the psychological stress of exercise, can cause an increase in the glucose-altering catecholamines, resulting in a higher blood glucose level This is why it is of utmost importance to monitor type 1 athletes before, during, and after exercise. Symptoms of hyperglycemia can include nausea, dehydration, decreased cognitive function, fatigue, rapid breathing, increased thirst, and increased urination.
- DPN then limit weight bearing exercises
- Avoid intense exercises such as jogging, stepping etc- retinal bleeding
- Most of problems are around C6
- Low intensity exercises
- Moderate intensity exercises
