1. IBERIA is running a contest on Facebook from April 10-17, 2017 to promote a secret destination. Participants must correctly identify the autonomous community or province shown in a photo to enter a prize drawing for 120,000 Avios, enough for a long-haul flight for two. 2. To participate, individuals must be fans of IBERIA's Facebook page and correctly comment on the photo with the name and location of the destination. One grand prize winner will be randomly selected and have the Avios deposited in their Iberia Plus account. 3. 1. Organizer
IBERIA L.A.E., S.A. OPERADORA, UNIPERSONAL, with headquarters on calle Martínez Villergas 49,
28027 Madrid (henceforth “IBERIA”) is planning a Contest to be conducted according to the
provisions of these Contest Rules. The Contest will be known as “#DiscoverTheIberiaDestination”.
2. Contest Duration
The maximum period during which participants may play to win will be from April 10, 2017 until
16:00 (Spanish peninsular time) on April 17, 2017.
3. Objective
The objective of the Contest is to promote the secret IBERIA destination by inviting our Facebook
fans to discover the name of the autonomous community that is shown in the photo attached to the
post. All participants who answer correctly will enter a prize drawing for a chance to win a grand
prize of 120.000 Avios, enough for a long-haul flight for two to visit the mysterious destination.
4. Participation Requirements
All physical persons of legal age who follow the steps indicated in Point 5 below of these Contest
Rules may participate in this Contest.
In order to participate, it is absolutely required that the participant accept these Contest Rules, as
well as IBERIA’s judgment with regard to the resolution of any issue that may arise in conjunction
with this Contest.
5. Contest Operation
In order to participate, these steps must be followed:
 Be a fan of IBERIA’s Facebook page: https://facebook.com/Iberia
 After reviewing the photo on the Facebook post, all participants must use the “Comment”
option to leave their answer indicating the name of the autonomous community or province
which is an Iberia destination and specify where it is located.
 All participants that answer correctly will enter the drawing.
Any disrespectful or inappropriate comments against another individual or the company, or
comments that are in any way considered as improper by IBERIA will be deleted and the participant
disqualified.
6. Winner Selection
- A winner and five alternate winners will be selected by random drawing on www.random.org
from among all participants that answer correctly. Only one entry per Facebook account will
be granted to each participant.
7. Communication With Winners
Winners shall be announced on IBERIA’s Facebook page within seven days of the drawing.
Participants must follow closely IBERIA on Facebook to find out the name of the winner.
The winner must send a private message on Facebook to claim the prize.
In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not provide his or her information
within seven days of winner announcement; or he or she relinquishes the prize; or he or she could

2. not be located within seven days after the first contact is made, the prize will be awarded to the first
alternate winner from the random drawing and so on until a winner accepts the prize.
8. Description and Prize Delivery
- One grand prize will be drawn among the participants that answer correctly with the name
of the Iberia destination from the Facebook photo post.
- The Avios will be credited to the personal Iberia Plus account of the winner, who will be able
to use them as he or she prefers, subject to the general conditions of the Iberia Plus
program.
- In order to credit the Avios, once the Contest concludes and the participant sends a private
message on Facebook, we will request the following information: name, surname, national
identification number, complete mailing address, telephone, email, date of birth and Iberia
Plus number.
- No prize may, under any circumstance, be subject to changes, alterations or compensation
of any sort.
- In the event that a winner is not a member of Iberia Plus, the Avios will be credited once he
or she registers in the Iberia Plus program and thereupon presents a valid Iberia Plus card.
Winners who are not Iberia Plus members have seven working days starting from the
moment of winning the prize to register for the Iberia Plus program and to alert Iberia to
that fact. Otherwise, it shall be asumed that he or she relinquishes and abandons the prize
won.
- The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of
acceptance of the prize, and is held free of any and all contractual or extra-contractual
liability which could be imputed to the company with regard to or on the occasion of a
winner’s use of the prize.
9. Waiver of Responsibility for Internet Malfunction
IBERIA is not responsible for malfunction of electronic communications which may interrupt the
normal conduct of this Contest for reasons beyond the control of this company, and especially due
to external acts of bad faith.
IBERIA shall also not be held responsible for problems in transmission or data loss not attributable to
IBERIA.
IBERIA reserves the right to disqualify a user (if he or she is believed to have used the application in
a fraudulent manner), modify these Contest Rules, and change the beginning and ending dates of
the Contest.
10. Image Rights
By accepting a prize, each winner grants consent to IBERIA to utilise, publicise, and reproduce
throughout the world and without limitation, his or her name and likeness in any publicity,
advertisement, promotion, publication, including Internet, or in any medium whatsoever for
commercial or informative purposes, as long as said use relates to this particular Contest, without
additional compensation or reimbursement of any sort whatsoever.
11. Tax Liability
In accordance with the regulations regarding individual income tax, when prizes are awarded for
participation in games, contests, sweepstakes or similar related to the sale or promotion of goods or

3. services, these are subject to the same obligation to withhold or deposit taxes due accordingly when
the prize value exceeds 300 Euros.
The prizes for the current Contest shall be subject to Spanish law 35/2006 regarding taxes upon the
income of physical persons; Royal Decree 437/2007, authorizing its implementation; Royal Decree
2069/1999 of December 30, approving the Statute of Public Lottery and Gaming Companies; Law
13/2011 on Regulation of Gaming; and other relevant regulations, so that in such case it will be the
responsibility of IBERIA to deposit or withhold accordingly. Any other fiscal responsibilities a prize
winner may incur as a result of winning a prize shall be his or her own additional responsibility.
12. Acceptance of Contest Rules
Participation in the present promotion implies the express acceptance of these rules in their entirety
and the complete and express acceptance of the interpretation thereof by IBERIA.
By participating in the drawing, participants accept that their names be published in IBERIA’s various
social-media and communications channels.
IBERIA reserves the right to modify the conditions of this promotion at any time, and even cancel or
rescind it, provided that there is justified cause for this. In such case, it would announce the
modified Contest Rules or even the annulment of this promotion as a whole via this same medium,
so that all participants have access to such information.
Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion should be sent by Facebook private
message to Iberia Airlines.
The claim period ends after five (5) days from the date of communication to the winners. Complaints
may be lodged in writing to IBERIA’s registered office.
13. Personal Data
The mechanics of this Contest require that data provided be accurate and complete. If personal data
were unclear and/or incomplete, IBERIA would be released, with regard to these specific
participants, from the successful conclusion of the Contest and any consequences related to the
above, disqualifying those participants and withholding any prize. Participants warrant that the
Personal Data provided in connection with this Contest are accurate, and undertake to notify IBERIA
of any changes therein.
IBERIA states that no checks on the accuracy of the data is performed, so that it will rely in each
case on the data entered by the user, whether accurate or not.
Personal data provided in connection with this Contest will be processed and incorporated into a
database owned by Iberia; participants consent to receiving commercial or promotional
communications, all subject to the provisions of the Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December and Royal
Decree 1720/2007 amending Law 15/1999.
All participants whose personal data are being processed may freely exercise their rights of
opposition, access, rectification and deletion of data in the terms established by Organic Law
15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data. These rights may be exercised by one of the following

14. Applicable Legislation
This Contest is governed by the laws of Spain. Any differences or disputes which may arise with
