The government of Andhra Pradesh issued an order to revise the items and norms of assistance provided from state and national disaster relief funds for damage caused by natural calamities between 2010-2015. The assistance for fully damaged houses was increased to Rs. 35,000 for pucca houses and Rs. 15,000 for kutcha houses. Assistance was also provided for severely damaged houses, partially damaged houses, damaged huts, and cattle sheds attached to houses. These revised norms apply to all victims of natural disasters in the state effective January 16, 2012.

O R D E R:
In partial modification of the orders issued in the reference 3rd
cited
above, and in pursuance of the orders received from Government of India in the
reference 4th
cited above, wherein the norms of assistance from the State
Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) / National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) for
the period of 2010-2015 in respect of the compensation to damaged houses etc.,
were revised which reads as follows:-
“ 9 a). Fully damaged / destroyed houses
i) Pucca house Rs.35,000/- per house
ii) Kutcha house Rs.15,000/- per house
b). Severely damaged houses
i) Pucca house Rs.6,300/- per house
ii) Kutcha house Rs.3,200/- per house
c). Partially damaged houses – Rs.1,900/- per house
both pucca / kutcha (other
than huts) where the damage
is at least 15%.
d) Damaged / destroyed huts. Rs.2,500/- per hut.
(Hut means temporary,
make shift unit, inferior to
Kutcha house, made of
thatch, mud, plastic sheets
etc. traditionally
recognized
as hut by the State/District
authorities).
Note: The damaged house
should be an authorized
construction duly certified
by the competent
authority of the State

e) Cattle shed attached with house Rs.1,250/- per shed.”
2. The above norms of financial assistance as in the reference 4th
cited
above are applicable in respect of all the victims of all the natural disasters in the
State with effect from 16.01.2012 as already ordered in the reference 4th
cited
above.
3. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide
their UO No. 10442/129/A2/Exp.Rev//2012, dated 30.05.2012.
