Sandeep Kumar Poonia was born on May 1, 1986 in Mehendergarh, Haryana. He is an Indian racewalker who has become one of the top athletes in track and field events in India. Some of his achievements include winning bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the 10,000 meter race walk and completing the 50 kilometer race walk at the 2015 World Athletics Championships. He currently holds the national records for both 50km and 20km race walking distances in India.

She first gained attention when she won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in

Karmakar is one of only five women who have successfully landed the Produnova, the most
