Digital storytelling involves using technology and multimedia to tell stories. It draws on concepts like visual literacy, technology literacy, information literacy, and higher-order thinking. Effective digital storytelling provides differentiated instruction that can engage visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile learners. When done well, it can help teachers meet International Society for Technology in Education standards.
