The students conducted an experiment to determine if adding two Alka-Seltzers to a homemade lava lamp would make it flow faster than one with a single tablet. Their hypothesis was that two tablets would cause faster movement. They added different numbers of tablets to separate bottles with food coloring, water and oil. Their results showed that the bottle with two tablets moved faster, supporting their hypothesis.

- 2. research! Our researchis that lava lamps were invented in the 1960s by Edward Craven-Walker . The stuff inside of lava lamps are Parrifan Wax and Perce. The container for lava lamps is glass and metal that holds the stuff in the lava lamp .
- 3. problem We are tryingto figure out, if we add 2 Alkaseltzers in a homemade lava lamp will it go faster than one.
- 4. our hypothesis! Weare teaching you about a lava lamp (homemade) and are hypothesis is : if you put two alkaseltser in your lava lamp will it go faster? we predict it will, but you might not so let’s see.

Firstwe are going to take food coloring, alkaseltser, water, and vegtible oil and put it in one bottle and put food coloring, two alkaseltzers, water, and vegtible oil see the diffrence we are going to put 2 alkaseltzers in one but not in the other one and we want to see if it goes faster!
- 6. the results! Ourresults came back clear........... and we were right! 2 alkaseltzers worked and went faster than one! So we were right.
