Reminder – you must use the following and “frame your shot” with your hands
      (check this out too http://www.digital-photography-school.com/framing-your-

    1. Take photos of each of the elements of design as found around PSSC
                i. Weather permitting this could be outside (do not use camera in the
                   rain!)
ii. Use the camera in a mode selection other than auto (green box on
                   selector)
iii. Set lens to Manual and use the lens to focus manually
    2. Take 10 pictures showing understanding of EACH principle of design and
your photography. Please check the definitions out at a different web site to be
sure of your understanding. Also, check with images in the search engine for
viable pictures depicting the elements to get ideas. Again, under each set of 10
be able to verbally give the reason the pictures meet the criteria (70 pics).
                                 a. Balance

                                 g. Unity
    3. Edit pictures with Photoshop including:
                  i. Do not use originals (always make a copy in another folder called
                     edited or revised)
ii. Label all pictures as to their element
iii. Have some fun with applying filters to one from each element set
                     of pictures
iv. Print color contact sheet(s) to photographic paper
                 v. Have a partner check these over for adherence to the correct shots
                     for all the elements
    4. Self-reflection of your photos with a partner – comment as our photographer
did on each photo looking for the key good photographic features
         a. Good shots you took, but also how to improve the poor ones
