What is Digital Marketing ( DM )
 Digital Marketing is marketing of products and services or
brands using internet and digital platforms like websites, apps ,
games , social media etc.
 Digital marketing can be done using all formats of
communication like text format , image format or video format
on the websites dedicated for the same.
 The power of digital marketing allows geophysical barriers to
disappear making all consumers and businesses on earth
potential customers and suppliers.
 It is known for its ability to allow business to communicate and
form a transaction anywhere and anytime
Current Scenario of DM In India
 India is fastest growing large economy in the world, it
still popularly known as the country of villages. Digital
marketing industry in India is a booming career today.
 In a country with a rapid growth economy, it is
expected to have a very high significant growth in
Digital marketing career.
 Digital Marketing industry in India is spread to almost
all the business sectors.
Future Trends of DM in India
 As per study the digital penetration in urban parts of india
is very good and more and more people are getting
connected to internet and digital technology
 But the same study suggest that out of every 1000
households in rural India only 50 have internet
connectivity.
 Understanding the same the government of India have
taken the mission of digital India is working very efficiently
and effectively on rural internet connectivity to villages by
putting more internet towers , fiber optic cables and
opening Common service Centers ( CSC )
Future Trends of DM in India
 Once slowly and steadily the digital presence in rural area
is achieved then that will have lot of undiscovered potential
of digital marketing
 In long term, digital will help to increase the consumption
in rural India and will also create employment
opportunities, thereby increasing disposable income- this
in turn will have positive effect on economic growth of the
country.
 The scope , application and use , impact on economy and
opportunities in Digital Marketing will be very high in
India when it is going to become a developed country in
next couple of decades and will be having the highest
digital literate people and workforce in the world.

Future Trends of DM in India  As per study the digital penetration in urban parts of india is very good and more and more people are getting connected to internet and digital technology  But the same study suggest that out of every 1000 households in rural India only 50 have internet connectivity.  Understanding the same the government of India have taken the mission of digital India is working very efficiently and effectively on rural internet connectivity to villages by putting more internet towers , fiber optic cables and opening Common service Centers ( CSC )
