Enter a world full of diamonds! This is little Diggy. One day he
stumbles across a treasure map. This exciting discovery sparks a
flame for adventure so he heads out to unearth amazing treasure
over a variety of worlds. Along the way, he will not only find the
treasures but he will also make friends and save fireflies from
underground caverns. He will need your help to aid him in
crushing rocks and gems to find treasure. Match gems to clear
away sand and rock so that water can flow between rooms and
help you reach specific goals.
A Guide For The Beginner
The goal of this game is to dig a path by clearing away a group of three or more diamonds (horizontally or vertically) to
reach a target score. Each level is played in several interconnected rooms. When you remove diamonds resting on the
ground titles, the tiles underneath will also disappear creating a path for the water. You can then use the water to make
your way through the rooms and discover treasures. The first tile of every room is always filled with water so your job is
to create a path to allow the water to reach its destination. The destination and goal of each level will change depending
on the game mode.

Why is part of the game board blue?
In each level, the blue part of the game board is the water. Guide the water to the exit
(this is highlighted with 2 white arrows) by clearing the diamonds resting on tiles. Once
you reach the exit, you will discover new rooms.
How do I reach a new room?
You must guide the water to the exit to enter a new room. You will begin the level with a set
number of moves, and as you enter a new room 2 extra moves will be added to the number of
moves you have left. The number of rooms per level can vary. You must visit all rooms to
complete the level and earn points.
There's more than one exit - which should I choose?
The priority is always to move the water down the board. Where there are two lateral exits, take
your pick and move the water towards that exit.
What types of boosters are available?
Color Burst when matched with a diamond and it will remove all diamonds of the same color.
Magic Orb will recharge every time you clear a group of diamonds. Once it is full, you will
receive a Color Burst, Line Blast or Dynamite depending on the level.
Extra Moves will allow you to start the level with 5 extra moves.
Dynamite - place it anywhere to blow up all surrounding tiles.
Line Blast: will dig both horizontally and vertically at the same time. Use it to clear your
way! You choose the tile, and it digs you a 4 way-path, in all 4 directions.
Shovel unblocks one tile or a blocker.
Earthquake makes a great blast. Rocks fall from the ceiling after entering each room.
The number of rocks is a random number between 15 and 20.
Magic Orb will fill the Magic Orb three times faster than normal.
What are the blockers?
Frozen Block - Diamonds in a Frozen Block can’t be cleared. Match diamonds around this blocker to unfreeze it.
Iron Block - The Iron Block is indestructible. It can't be removed and nothing can pass through it.
Jelly - Avoid if possible. Diamonds that fall under the Jelly can't be cleared.
Mud Block - Unlike the Iron Block, the Mud Block can be removed by clearing
diamonds next to it.
Key Lock - You will need to bring the water to the key, to unlock the door. You unlock them by
bringing the flow of water to all of the keys that are on that board.
Color Lock - a specific number of diamonds will need to be cleared to unlock the door.
You unlock them by matching the diamonds of the required color. The count on color bond
locks represents how many diamonds of that color you have to match to release the lock.
Rock Block and Broken Road block - This tricky blocker requires you to match and clear
diamonds more than once to remove it.
Lava Block - The lava blocks will generate a new lava block next to them each turn
unless water touches them. Once the water reaches them, there will be some dry
lava left. To remove it you will need to match diamonds twice.
Mud Bomb - If the countdown reaches 0 the mud bomb will explode, turning into a mud
block and randomly generating 10 more mud blocks in the room. These mud blocks can be
removed by clearing diamonds next to it.
Eggs - This blocker will become a helper if it touches the ground. When it does it will release a random
booster including color bombs, line blasts, more movements, points or partially filling the orb.
Toy Block - have to match diamonds 3 times next to these boxes. Once you do that they
will randomly spread toys around the room waiting to be collected.
Chama - They can be found only in rescue levels. If the water touches them before you save the
fireflies, their skin will change color. Once you save a firefly the chama will eat it. To free the fireflies
you will have to match as many diamonds as required of the same color as the chama. If you manage to
save all of the fireflies in the room and the water hasn't reached the chamas, they will automatically
disappear.
Coin Tile - To get rid of these blocks you will have to match diamonds up to 5 times! The good part
is every time you do that you will receive 1000 points as a reward and 3000 extra points when you
completely remove them.
Lava Bomb - if the countdown reaches 0 the mud bomb will explode, turning into a lava block and
randomly generating 10 more lava blocks in the room. Each group of lava blocks will generate a
new lava block next to them each turn unless water touches them. Once the water reaches them,
there will be some dry lava left. To remove it you will need to match diamonds twice.
Ninja Mud - When matching diamonds next to it, it will generate a 3x3 square of mud blocks
around itself. These mud blocks can be removed by clearing diamonds next to it.
Ninja Frozen - When matching diamonds next to it, it will generate a 3x3 square of frozen
blocks around itself. Match diamonds around the frozen blocks to unfreeze them.
Angry Rock - When matching diamonds next to it, it will generate a row and a column of
rock blocks starting from the blocker to the nearest walls. Then you will need to match and
clear diamonds more than once to remove them.
Angry Frozen - When matching diamonds next to it, it will generate a row and a
column of frozen blocks starting from the blocker to the nearest walls. Match
diamonds around the frozen blocks to unfreeze them.
Toy blocks

Thin Mud
Lava Rock if next to toy, toy might be swallowed by lava. If
lava is watered it will turn into a toy on the broken stone
Broken stone requires 2 hitsStone requires 3 hits
Thick mud requires 2 hits
Score mode
What are the different game modes?
Score is the fundamental element in the game. It is calculated during and after completing a level. You have to reach a maximum
score by digging through diamonds and uncovering special treasures. Clearing larger groups of jewels gives you a bigger score
and bonus moves, so go for large groups to conserve moves and achieve a higher score.
Diamonds without water don't earn
you any points when destroyed
Diamonds destroyed on water
don't earn you any points
Ground block or broken stone - for every
destroyed block you get points but points
earned depend on the current depth.
Mud block, Frozen block, Lava block ,
Frozen ninja, Water toy block don't earn
you any points when destroyed
Purple blocks can't be destroyed,
so they earn no points
These types of diggy blocks
earn 1,000 points per hit
Gold-striped blocks behave like ground blocks, but they earn you additional points. The deeper the depth, the more
additional points you get.
Gold-striped block (Coin)
Gold-striped block (Pocket)
Gold-striped block (Chest)
Toys mode
On the toy levels, the toys are hidden under
special green tiles throughout a room. They
are a pretty common level type, more
common than score levels, but less than
fireflies levels. The objective to completing
these is to collect the required amount of
toys and score at least one star in a limited
amount of moves. If you fail to collect
enough toys in the room before you guide
the water to the exit the level will be over
regardless of how many moves you have left.
These cute ducks, submarines and octopuses
will appear when they are dug out of the
turquoise tiles. The game will alert you if you
have not collected all of them inside a room
before moving on.
Note: You can’t get toys by clicking on
diamonds that are not on a turquoise tile.
On these levels, there will be sleeping fireflies
located in different areas on the board. To
collect them, you have to clear a path to lead
the water to where they are and when it gets
there it will wake them up. Each level has a
specific number of fireflies to collect, and
similar to the toy levels, the game will alert
you if you need to wake them all up inside a
room before moving on. If you lead the water
to the exit without clearing a path to a
required firefly the level will end regardless of
how many moves you have left.
Fireflies Levels
In these levels you have to bring it down on the board and place them on top of their bases. Totems levels can be some of
the most frustrating as it can be difficult to make matches below them as they move down. There are two types of totems:
Stone Totems and Golden Totems. The only difference between them is that the golden totems will appear only on last
boards of Totem levels; however, the stone totems may appear on any boards which are not last for a certain level. Their
functionality and purpose is the same. Because of this, a lot of players experience that, on last boards of Totem levels,
totems still appear like stone totems, instead of golden ones.
