3. To Fight Road Rage
To Fight Road Rage
I Feel…..
Road rage is becoming a common place occurrence on our streets
and highways.
What bothers us the most is that it can turn civilized citizens into
monsters, resorting to physical violence and taking the law into
their own hands.
This cannot be the way a civilized society should function.

4. To Fight Road Rage
I Imagine …
The students of classes V, VI and VII decided to bring a change in the
attitude of the people regarding road rage. We wanted our streets free of
aggression, where people are nice to each other and driving is safe and
stress free. There are so many problems in the world that we cannot do
anything about. But this is not one of those, and the solution to this
problem lies in our own hands.
5. To Fight Road Rage
I Do…..
We decided the best cure for road rage was to create awareness amongst
people about the problem and to remind them to smile while driving.
We solicited the help of our parents, van drivers and residents of the
society near our school. These people readily agreed to support our cause
by putting bumper stickers on their vehicles which told people to “smile to
fight road rage”.

But for a noble cause …...
In the 1st phase we distributed 200 stickers to the residents of Vadodara. We
found that the 200 people who put our stickers on their cars had become
our partners in the project. Not only were they more conscious while driving,
they also spread good cheer.
Thousands of residents of Vadodara read the stickers as they moved about
the streets and were forced to think about the problem and consider the
simple solution “SMILE”

As a few drops of water make a mighty
ocean, so, a small smile builds a
peaceful and strong nation.
8. To Fight Road Rage
A ray of hope………
It was heartening to see the support people gave us to make our project a
success.
The smile indeed proved to be the strongest weapon against ROAD RAGE.
