helpful, funny, friendly, courageous? Who is your audience?
• How is the brand of your company, plus product and service in
alignment with your personality? For example, do you blog on your
personal website and also for the company?
• Are you better at speaking or writing? Which medium do you enjoy
more? This will determine the best channel for you to use.
• In which countries or continents is your audience located? Do you
address corporate people, non-profit people, Millennials, teenagers, or
somebody else? The truth is, you cannot help and target everybody.
• Dress and show up for the career you want, not the career you have.
Always bear in mind where you want your personal brand to be in 5-10
years. Thus, you will keep momentum despite everyday noise.

• Make the content marketing calendar, start from this guide:

• Allocate the time to create content as you schedule it in your agenda
and think in advance about topics you will discuss. Such as questions
that keep your audience awake at night.
• Be disciplined and stick to your blogging schedule to make a habit both

• Choose 1-2 platform to create and 2-4 platforms to spread the content
and outreach: YouTube videos and website are promoted on YouTube,
Facebook, Linkedin… Or your Instagram and website content is
promoted on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

• In the book Content Inc. Joe Pulizzi talks about the strategies to
amplify your business and personal brand from one platform to more
avenues that are lucrative.
• If you want to promote your work in person as well, think about
these options: organize consultations face-to-face, attend industry
events and conferences, organize meetups with local community,
serve on a non-profit board or as advisor to a company.
• If you want to expand your profile through online activities, try these
options: partner with brands that share your values and promote
them, offer opportunities for guest bloggers and affiliate marketing,
and be a guest at somebody else’s blog.
6) It is all about money, but actually it is not…
• When people see how good you are and that you are in the game of
personal branding not for the sake of getting rich quickly, but
because you want to make an impact and to build a legacy, they will
start to trust you, they will tune their attention to you and they will
follow your work, waiting for your next piece of content or big news.
• Trust and time cost more and have higher value than any money we
can earn. So, be wise with trust and time of your audience and
partners.
