Dest opening oct 2010 ecg tc
The Downeast Sunrise Trail in Maine is the most spectacular section of the East Coast Greenway. Construction and improvements were ongoing in 2010, including bridge work, drainage systems, and establishing the trail surface. The trail officially opened on September 21, 2010 after over a decade of advocacy and work to develop it.
