Two men, Paul (32) and Eli (23) are arguing in their living
room.
ELI

PAUL
What do you mean you don’t know?

ELI

PAUL

up and be a man.
Eli laughs.
ELI
You think men do this?
PAUL
Men who have nothing do this?
ELI
Why don’t you try getting a job
Paul.
PAUL
Why can’t you understand that this
is the only option.
ELI

PAUL
If we do this right, nothing bad
will happen.
ELI
I don’t trust you. Not after what
happened at the bar last week.
Paul smirks.
PAUL

PAUL

ELI

Paul interrupts him.
PAUL

ELI
If I hadn’t intervened, who knows
where she or you would be right
now.
PAUL
You think you saved me? A scared
prick like you, saving me?
ELI
I don’t care what you think. I’m
not doing this. I have Emily to
worry about.
PAUL
That’s right. Your girlfriend. How
is she anyways?
ELI
Leave her out of this.
PAUL
I can’t believe you care about her
more than me. Your own brother.
ELI
I do care about you. I wouldn’t be
here listening to your insane
ideas, if I didn’t.
Look, I know you’re mad at the
world. It’s fucked you over. But
this is not the answer. Get your
