In the early stages, companies can access funds from friends/family/fools (FFF), crowdfunding for seed/idea stage up to £50k, or overdraft and post-revenue financing from £10k-£100k. Later stages include angels, venture capital from £100k-£1m, private equity from £25m-£100m, and public markets like equity capital markets or debt capital markets. After the debt crisis, crowdfunding and crowd-lending expanded to provide more options up to £100k.
