1) BRYONIA
(i) Basic person, not refined or sophisticated. (ii)
Is a gourmand.
Dryness. Swelling.
Dryness of mouth, tongue, and
throat, with excessive thirst
Tongue coated Heavily white in gastric
yellowish dark brown derangement. Bitter
taste [Nux.vom; Colo.]
Materialistic
Passionate Stubborn
Worrier Insecure
Business oriented
Tall, slender persons having dark hair, dark
complexion and firm muscular fibres.
Speech: hasty
Firm Irritability
On back.
Speech: hasty

Firm Irritability+++
Sycotic: exploitation Achy
& self-centred (rheumatic
diathesis)
Tough and rigid. Firmness. Besotted,
bewildered.
Coarse, dry, devoid of emotion. Speech –
prattling.
Smart. Can be basic
Thick, hard, corrugated (Sycotic) + rough
(psoric).
Patients are hot; aggravated by warmth in
general.
Rheumatic and gouty diathesis.
Psora++, Sycotic+++, Syphilitic+,
Tubercular++.
Worried and will enquire about the possibility of
cure. May be little late!
(i) Lack of emotion. (ii) Straight forward. (iii)
Spiteful, vindictive. (iv) Mocking and sarcasm.
(i) Refuses to answer questions, (ii) Indicates in
every way that he prefers not to talk or move,
turns his back when being questioned.
(a) Averse to company (wants to be left alone).
(b) Malicious, spiteful, vindictive. (c) Refuses to
answer all questions during consultation 
reflects  irritability & / or sarcasm.

2) CALCAREA CARB.
No firm responding grip, clammy hand. Flabby
and have a boneless kind of hand-grip. Clammy
hand. No bone, no firm responding grip.
Forehead is wide.
Upper lip protruding.
Glossy & spotted (Tubercular). Hang nails. Brittle
& exfoliation of nails. Hangnails. Sensation of
twitching.
(i) Short limbed. (ii) Fair, fat, flabby, freezing and
pulp. (iii) Jiggles like jelly. (iv) Sit in a chair and
slides down because she is so flabby. (v) Good
planners and organizers. (vi) Late in attending
social gatherings. (vii) Tears just drip down
silently. (viii) Damp head may smell mildly of
cottage cheese. (ix) More strongly of old cheese.
(x) Slides down because she is so flabby. (xi)
Trust-worthy, reliable, loyal, dedicated, hard-
working. (xii) Have damp hands and heads. (xiii)
Flabby and have a boneless kind of hand-grip.
(xiv) Clammy hand. (xv) No bone, no firm
responding grip. (xvi) Loose firmless garb,
socks, floppy shoes, hats, no constriction around
middle. (xvii) Dislike tightness around the waist.
(xviii) Can be quiet stubborn resistance. (xix)
Behave like a dunce, jaw hangs,
uncomprehending looks, pretends to be slower –
defends himself by “switching off” in various
ways. (xx) Capricious appetite. (xxi) Principle
defensive action is to withdraw and protect –
close off the world and ignore it. (xxii) Visibly
upset by criticism and takes umbrage at the
least little comment. (xxiii) Strong willed,
obstinate, toddler often difficult to distract from
his desires. (xxiv) upset by horrible things,
stories, events in the news, by terrible tragedies
happening to others.
(i) Blond hair. (ii) Light complexion, blue eyes,
fair skin. (iii) Pale, weak. (iv) Children with red
face, flabby muscles, who sweat easily and take
cold readily in consequence. (v) Curvature of
bones especially spine & long bones. (vi)
Children have no disposition to walk and will not
try. (vii) Dr. Margaret Tyler remarks, “with the
chalky complexion goes; fatness without fitness,
sweating without heat, bones without strength,
tissue of plus quantity and minus quality, mere
flabby, bulky with weakness and weariness”. Dr.
Tyler remarks, it is difficult to miss a Calcarea
child. (viii) 4F = Constitution, F1 = Fair, F2 = Fat,
F3 = Flabby & F4 = Freezing constitution. (ix) Dr.
Blackie refers especially a description of children
who are charming, smiling and who take prize at
the baby show. They sit where they are put and
do not wriggle about like other children. (x) Neck
and body may be scraggy. (xi) She comes in
(i) Puffy, pale, devoid of contour. (ii) Old
looking expression. (iii) Swollen upper lip. (iv)
Pale with deep seated eyes, surrounded by
dark rings. Formication. Huckles. Greasy. Hair.
Whiskers, falling out of. Heat. Expression,
facial absent. Idiotic. Sickly. (v) Anxious, old
looking, sickly appearance.
Soft, womanish.
Dryness.
Persistent sour taste
Dryness of Burning pain at tip of
tongue at tongue; worse, anything
night warm taken into stomach
(i) Invites criticism. (ii) Pressured Calc turns
peevish, grumpy, querulous or childish, but he
is rarely nasty. (iii) Stubbornness. (iv) Self-
assertiveness. (v) This non-aggressive but
determined obstinacy.
(i) Light colour. (ii) Loose, no constriction
around middle. (iii) Floppy shoes. (iv) Don’t tie
the lace of the shoes.
(i) Slide down. (ii) Anxious & scared. (iii)
Insecured. (iv) Cold hands. (v) During
consultation: switches off  withdraws  does
not co-operate  obstinacy (+++)
Chilly patient, disposed to catch cold very
easily.
Scrofulous, rachitic and tubercular diathesis.
Psora+++, Sycotic+++, Syphilitic++,
Tubercular+++.
Anxious and have cancelled the appointment
twice before. Last minute .com; will appear late
in a sloppy way!
Shin. Fine hair. Puffy but Delicate face.
The tips of fingers are square.

puffily and presents you with a froggy hands that
makes you shrink and you can spot Calc. carb
by the hands (Ref. Dr. Tyler). Some-times they
are of large nose. (xii) Pale, chalky complexion.
(xiv) Can’t bear tight clothing around middle. (xv)
Looks physically strong but lacks motivation.
(xvi) Round appearance.
3F: Fair, fat, flabby
Look and diagnose

(i) The “shadow side” of Calc is the terribly
difficult, badly behaved child. (ii) Temper
tantrums of screaming, ungovernable,
disobedient, “self willed” (iii) Uncontrollable
natures keep them from getting along in
school or at home. (iv) Tantrums are
continuous with little or no discernible
provocation. (v) Stressed mostly from
overexertion or overwork – mentally or
physically.
