NITCO received the 20th rank for "Dream Employer of the Year" at the World HRD Congress Awards 2013 in Mumbai for its innovative HR programs that achieved business results and drove organizational excellence. As the only building materials company to make the final presentation round, NITCO won this prestigious award within just 2 years of focusing on HR excellence. In 2012, NITCO also won awards for one of its digital floor tile designs, was honored as a business partner by Tata Housing, and achieved recertification of its integrated management system for quality, environmental, and health and safety standards.

and excellence in front of 44 jury members and 5 auditors from Deloitte for this award
category. This award is the ultimate endorsement of the excellent people practices followed
at NITCO.
Against many experienced players from diversified industry, we were the only organization
in Building Material Industry to reach the final stage of presentation in front of the jury
members and then went on to win such a prestigious award in a short time of HR
Excellence of just 2 years.
Key Achievements of 2012:
1. We have won The Economic Times Acetech Design Wall-2012 award for one of the
SKU’s Mayan Moss in Digital floor tiles in its 1st year of launch.
2. We have been honored with “Business Partner” by TATA Housing during the
Business Excellence Awards 2012 in recognition for maintaining best quality standards &
customizing the tiles suitable to the project requirement.
3. IMS Certified: Comitted management and employee participation, is our key strengths in
our journey to build the quality culture. NITCO has achieved recertification in Integrated
Management System (IMS) - QMS ISO 9001:2008, EMS ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS –
18001:2007. The auditors from TUV Nord have re-certified NITCO for IMS for the next 3
years.
