Who are Don’t be a tourist?ClickWhat we do we do?We organise unforgettable, action-packed UK trips aimed at international students (although UK students and non-students are encouraged to join in) to the best destinations in the UK. Our trips are the easy way to get away with a group of like-minded travellers from lots of countries and explore the best bits of the UK. Travelling with us means they see the sights and get to some of the more hard to reach places, while making great friends from all over the world and having an amazing time!

What does a trip leader do?ClickA lotPlan – go through itinerary, check the weather forecast, have alternatives in mind (weather, road works, events), work out times to stop for breaks…Organise – check everyone is present, call late arrivals, check students into accommodation, book a restaurant for dinner, lead a walk…Inform – provide safety information, info about destination, things to see & doMotivate – big group of 50 students, different nationalities, different expectations, try to get them together as a groupEntertain – DJ, tell funny stories, jokes, historical facts, teach phrases, songs…Support – help students find their way, make friends, find something which interests them, helping a Muslim student find somewhere to pray, buy halal food.Research – prior to trips (itineraries, stories, destinations), and to help us develop the itineraries and content of the trips
