As a Clinical Pharmacist for Option Care, my responsibilities included: Total Parenteral Nutrition Therapies-
this included doing nutritional assessments, working up the patient specific TPN and monitoring labs and
outcomes. Pain Therapies- I was the Pain Consultant for NW PA Hospice and worked hand in hand with
Doctors and Nurses to ensure an acceptable pain level (0 to 4) for terminal patients. Antibiotic Therapies-
this included assessment and work up of appropriate doses using kinetic dosing, followed by ongoing lab
assessments and monitoring outcomes.
