Although never working with Vaughn directly, in my 15 years working in the Pharmaceutical Industry (5
years in a sales management role) I have rarely come across a person that exemplifies the natural talent,
intelligence and the drive to succeed that I see in Vaughn. His willingness to learn and develop himself into an
outstanding Account Manager continues to exceed my expectations. Vaughn took the time to fly out to
California to learn more about the California Market and spend the day with one of my account managers.
Vaughn’s key accomplishments and skills included:
Understands the inner workings of the psychiatric marketplace
Excellent at “earning the right” to uncover the customers true needs/opportunities and where his
products could help improve the outcomes and be cost effective
Great detective. Ability to ask high gain questions to better understand her business and understand
the “why”

Understands the importance of how Managed Care affects each office and their patients
Excellent listening skills and asks smart questions to better understand processes and procedures
Ability to quickly learn Analytical tools
o Vaughn has helped developed and presented Insights workshops to multiple teams and
Account Managers
Finally, Vaughn has wonderful social skills and can quickly earn the credibility/confidence of his customers.
This skill allows him to put people at ease so they are willing to be open minded about making changes and
adopting new products into their practices.
