This document provides information about how to say dates in English using ordinal numbers for the day, cardinal numbers for years 2000 and later, and a hybrid system for earlier years. It lists the ordinal numbers for days 1st through 31st and the months of the year in order from January to December. Years 2000 and later are said as ordinary cardinal numbers, while earlier years are said with the first two digits as one number and the last two as another number, optionally joined by "hundred and" if the last two are 00-09.
