ConclusionConclusion
To conclude my presentation, we have seen the importance of
fisheries data collection in MCS to our ministry.
Data entry and following Data analysis is really important in
Kiribati MCS.
We need accurate and timely reports (data) so that we can
know an accurate status of our data (and fishery).
Incomplete reporting generally indicates disappointment to
follow to licence conditions and is an offence under the Act.
Conclusion (cont)Conclusion (cont)
It is up to ALL of us to ensure compliance with the
license conditions is strictly followed to, so as to
allow future generations access to our non-
renewable fishery resources.
Accurate reporting (data) is fundamental in
knowing the way to manage our tuna fisheries.
All of you as Authorized Officers have
responsibility to the Kiribati people to ensure
accurate data is obtained.
