San Diego attorney Scott McMillan sued Darren Chaker and failed in federal court, so he filed the identical meritless lawsuit in state court a couple of weeks later. Darren Chaker hired a renown Los Angeles law firm known for representing police departments in high stakes litigation, including the LAPD and LA Sheriff. The plaintiff in the case has not opposed the motion to dismiss, possibly due to the fact it provides a copy of the public record alleging the plaintiff, San Diego attorney Scott McMillan , was involved with child molestation.
