4. • Assemble 5 people into a line, with the first 2 individuals facing each other &
the other 3 individuals stand with their backs facing the front of the line (what
about the 6th individual, you ask? We’ve got a special role for em, don’t you
worry!)
• Unscrew lampshade from lamp and plug in the lamp to a socket (oops, does
electricity count as the third item ?? Let’s say this is a magical lamp that can
run on your own passion and creativity! ;)
• The second individual in line places the lampshade over their head to “dim”
their ability to see. The third individual in line holds the mirror so they can see
the first two people in line.
• The individual at the front of the line thinks of an awesome dance in their
head then once ready, performs the 10 second dance for the second
individual.
• Here’s where the 6th person comes in. He or she will be in charge of managing
the light switch. At some point while the first individual is dancing, this rascally
6th person will switch off the light, making it even more difficult for the
second person to get a full sense of the dance…(remember he or she still has
the lampshade on their head)
5. I can
seeeee
…I can’t youuuu!
really
Woo see
dance!! you
Mwaha! I

the light!
ON
OFF
6. • Now it is Individual 2’s turn to be the dancer. The lampshade is passed down
to Individual 3 and the mirror is passed to Individual 4. Individual 1 can now
relax and enjoy the game.
• Individual 2 must now relay the dance (or what he or she can remember of it)
to individual 3. Remember that Individual 3 was holding the mirror during
Individual 1’s dance so they had some extra help to see (partially what was
goin on)
• Individual 6 again manages the light, giving Individual 2 less time with the light
(and so on for the subsequent players)
• This process repeats til it is the last individual’s turn – he or she must replicate
the dance to the best of their ability for the rest of the players.
• Restart the game by rotating players into the different positions!
7. This game can work with as many people as you like. Keep in mind for more
players, the longer the initial dance should be…
So how do you win? Well there are only winners here, because how can you lose
with a dance party with a bunch of your closest friends??
